Leah Clark Animal Artist

Leah Clark is an artist specializing in realistic and abstract depictions of animals in various art forms from pencils to acrylic paint, pastels to mixed media. In addition to creating custom commissioned works, Leah creates original works for local exhibitions drawing from her experience as a horse trainer, elephant handler, and zoo keeper.

Wild Ink: Elephant Series

“Wild Ink: Elephant Series” is an illustration series depicting African elephants. These illustrations are a combination of watercolor over pen and ink. The images are of the four African elephants the artist worked closely with as an Elephant Handler at Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester, NY. The artist was inspired by the grace, intelligence, and power of these gentle giants.
